Almost Vegan Companies in the UK: Green Valley Online, selling natural products for health and vitality, claims to be 99% vegan. I asked what is not vegan: "Everything we sell is vegan except for two of the Vega brand of supplements; The Children's Multivitamin and Propolis. Our goal is to find a suitable vegan alternative for the Children's Multivitamin supplement. We will then stop stocking both of these lines and our product range will be 100% vegan" explains Rob Massey. This is a vegan family operated business. The owner has been vegan for 9 years. The online store started 8 years ago and they offer hundreds of different vitamins, supplements, herbal remedies, body care products, baby products and some vegan perfumes, too. Rob Massey became vegan as a result of becoming interested and involved in animal welfare campaigns. "I progressed from being vegetarian to be being vegan when I learned about battery hens and veal calves etc." Rob also adds, "We're always happy to hear from vegans (and vegetarians too) with suggestions for products they would like to see us stocking."
