Vegan Healing Centers: The Tree of Life Rejuvenation Center has three departments that market products: The Tree of Life Cafe, the Awakened Living Shoppe, and the Health Practice Dispensary. The Tree of Life Cafe serves ONLY vegan, organic, live food. The Awakened Living Shoppe carries ONLY vegan food, personal, and home products. The Health Practice Dispensary seeks and chooses vegan holistic supplement alternatives at all times; it uses non-vegan products such as gelatin capsules only when an alternative is not available. The company owner is vegan for 30 years and the company was founded in 1993. Employees, staff, and the entire community are all 100% vegan. Apprentices and volunteers are also given to uphold the same dharma, not only for the time they are hear but also 1 month in advance. Rebbe Gabriel Cousens, M.D., M.D. (H), Dip. American Board of Holistic Medicine, Dip. Ayurveda, who functions as a healer, a scientist, and a spiritual teacher, is committed to sharing a way of life that heals, uplifts, and makes peace with the individual, the family, the community, all cultures, the living planet, and our relationship with God.
