Bristol Vegetarian & Vegan Society

We are a group of vegetarians and vegans in Bristol and the surrounding district. Our voluntary group aims to promote the vegetarian and vegan diets:
– as essential to human health,
– as the only way to feed the world, millions of whose people are starving,
– as essential to preserve the ecosystem of the earth, the environment,
– to avoid worldwide cruelty and exploitation of animals.

We promote our aims at our BVVS Stall with free literature, and books & other goods for sale, and at Veronica Lee's Bristol Vegans Stall with free literature, and vegan foods & other goods for sale, at local events such as:
– the Animal Charities Fair
– the Natural Health & Ecology Show
– the Bristol Community Festival (see Diary)

We also hold occasional social events for members, such as a spring picnic, a summer garden party, and a Christmas party, at all of which members bring vegan food to share.

Membership

To join the Bristol Vegetarian & Vegan Society to support our aims please apply to the honorary Treasurer (see Contacts) giving full name(s) and address, (with phone number and email address if you wish) and the minimum annual subscription of £2, which includes our newsletter three times a year. Cheques payable to Bristol Vegetarian & Vegan Society please.
