Capriccios in Hazlemere for a lovely Italian meal.
June 2005
Sunday 12th June.
Several members met at Hillingdon Outdoor activity centre and
participated in a half day's dinghy sailing training. This was
followed by a picnic. Good feedback on this, so we plan to keep
this as at least an annual event.

Sunday 8th May. Good turn out for a walk and pub lunch at the
Squirrel Pub in Penn Street, near Amersham. Weather was fine,
views were wonderful and food was good. More walks being planned
for later in the year.

A select group met for a meal on March 31st, at Chesham Cottage,
Chinese Restaurant in Chesham.
February 2005
Wed 26th Feb, 16 of us enjoyed a great meal at Capriccios in Hazlemere - a record number.
Capriccios is a friendly, traditional Italian restaurant close to the roundabout in Hazlemere.
All food is prepared fresh so they are willing to make any dish either vegetarian or vegan.
I'm sure this is one we will return to.

January 2005
The first event of 2005 was a meal out at the Spice Route in Windsor on 26th January.
This event was organised by Thames Valley Vegetarians and had a good turn out from both TVVs and
CVs.
Spice Route is a contemporary (sadly omnivorous) Indian restaurant which created a set vegan menu for our group on the night.
The starters of avocado and mango tangy salad and spinach and potato fritters seemed to be particular favourites.
Thanks to Sophie and Stephen of TVVs for another great event. Thames Valley Vegans and Vegetarians are a social and active vegetarian group

Events in 2004 included a picnic to celebrate National Vegetarian Week, an evening walk, several meals out and pub getogethers.
Plus the more energetic members have met to play badminton and there have even been some sailing lessons!
