Dr. Delio Esteve

Naturist MD, at Buenos Aires University, Montevideo School of Medicine (Uruguay), Madrid School of Medicine (Spain). Owner of more than one hundred diplomas in different medical specialities. Honorary member of the Argentina Vegetarian Union (UVA), and Hon. President of the Buenos Aires Naturist Society. He's a great sportsman, winner in countless international rowing competitions, in 1998 won the South American Master Interclubs (Asuncion, Paraguay), the South American Master (Carmelo, Uruguay), the World Master's Games 4th Veteran Olimpics in USA, and in 2000 won the South American one celebrated at Florianopolis (Brasil), amongst other competitions won lately.

Dr. Delio Esteve is 80-years-old now, and being a third-generation vegetarian he is a paradigm for naturism and everything involved, a great promoter of a cruelty-free diet, he has been an activist since ever. Health care professional, and a tough defender of his beliefs and of the works started by his father, the renowned Prof. Esteve Dulin, who was the founder of the Buenos Aires Naturist Society at the beginning of the 20th century, and who pushed the Argentinian naturist-vegetarian movement to be the most outstanding in the continent about the middle of last century. Now retired from his physician activities, keeps on giving lectures at UVA Congresses, contributing to the magazine "El Vegetariano", and transmitting his vast knowledge and tireless energy in helping with whatever he can. He owns a vitality that arises from his vegetarian spirit.

Miembro honorario de la Unión Vegetariana Argentina, Presidente Honorario de la Asociación Naturista de Buenos Aires, Gran deportista, ganador de infinidad de competencias internacionales de remo, en 1998 ganó el Sudamericano Master Interclubs, Asunción, Paraguay, el Master Sudamericano, Carmelo, Uruguay, la "World Master's Games" 4° Olimpiada de Veteranos en EEUU y en el 2000 ganador del Sudamericano realizado en Florianópolis, Brasil, entre otros títulos internacionales ganados ultimamente.

El Dr. Delio Esteve hoy con 80 años, y siendo tercera generación de vegetarianos es un paradigma del naturismo y de todo lo que esto significa, gran promotor de una alimentación libre de crueldad, y activista desde siempre. Profesional de la salud, tenaz defensor de sus creencias y de la obra que iniciara su padre el famoso profesor Esteve Dulín, quien fuera uno de los fundadores de Asociación Naturista de Buenos Aires, allá por los comienzos del siglo xx y quien ubicara al movimiento vegetariano naturista argentino a mediados de ese mismo siglo, en el lugar más destacado de nuestro continente. Hoy continuando la obra de su padre, aunque jubilado en su actividad médica, sigue dando conferencias en los Congresos de Unión Vegetariana Argentina, colaborando en la revista El Vegetariano, transmitiendo sus conocimientos y ofreciendo su inagotable energía para colaborar en lo que se le pida.
Poseedor de una vitalidad que hace gala de su espíritu vegetariano.
