The Vegetarian was a weekly newspaper started in 1888 by Arnold F. Hills, who was also the President of the London Vegetarian Society. The paper carried news of LVS but remained independent, it closed in 1903 when Hills suffered financial problems.
There are no complete scans of any issues, but below are some extracts, much of it relating to the Vegetarian Federal Union which was run from the same offices as LVS:

The Vegetarian announce that it was changing from weekly to monthy, due to lack of funds, but seems to have ceased publication soon after. The London Vegetarian Society published Vegetarian News from 1920 to 1958. |
