A devoted vegan, Ms Khubchandani gave a talk on behalf of the HK Vegan
Society at the recent International Vegetarian Congress held in Edinburgh,
Scotland. She will update us on her presentations and the highlights of
the conference.

is a government-registered charity based in Hong Kong, which is addressing the needs of wild, domestic and endangered species in Asia. Ms. Robinson will
talk about the historic "China Bear Rescue" of 500 caged and endangered Moon
bears from farms in China, and the foundation's "Friends...or Food" campaign.
Mr Martin Baker of Greenpeace
Mr. Baker has worked with
Greenpeace
for 9 years, developing the organization's use of the internet to involve and activate the public to win campaigns. He will outline the philosophies and
guiling principles of the organization and the role of Greenpeace today and for
the future in protecting the environment.
