`Ι ιXgΖXVegans and vegetarians don't have to eat at special restaurants. However, if you're getting tired of ordering that Lo Hon Rice or trying to work out which dishes are suitable, then you'll be glad to know that Hong Kong has many restaurants suitable for vegans. The majority are, of course, Chinese restaurants, often with Buddhist connections and are thus also frequented by monks. Such restaurants can be found all over Hong Kong. Most of the food should be vegan and those containing eggs are usually labelled on the menu (in Chinese, anyway). You can always ask. Most of the other suitable restaurants fall into the categories of Western and Indian cuisine. Listed below is just a small selection of vegan-friendly restaurants and shops.
