Pearl Barley Dessert
Recipe by Cyprian and Georgiana Plostinar, presented at the Club on
5 April 2006. Serves 4-6.
- 500g pearl barley, boiled until cooked
- honey for sweetening
- 100g dry coconut
- 100g walnuts, finely chopped
- 100g raisins
- 1 teaspoon rum extract
- 2 apples, finely chopped
- 1 banana, finely chopped
Mix all ingredients together, adding honey to taste.
