預計今年地球日最大的一個活動是在美國舉行的“為氣候變化打電話”(Call for Climate)。地球日聯盟號召民眾向議會打電話，呼籲政府採取有效行動應對氣候變化。組織者希望截止到22號能有一百萬個電話打給議會。

Join us in the nation’s capital to celebrate the biggest Earth Day yet! On April 20th, walk, bike, row or take public transportation to the National Mall in Washington, DC for a day-long event for the entire family.
Earth Day on the Mall, produced in partnership with Green Apple Festival, will bring together world environmental leaders, community activists, A-list talent and top speakers with one CALL FOR CLIMATE, a demand for immediate, effective and equitable action against global warming that will culminate on Earth Day, April 22nd, when we hope to generate ONE MILLION CALLS TO CONGRESS.
