The Lewes and Hastings Area Vegetarian & Vegan group - LHveg (an affiliated group of the Vegetarian Society) is a voluntary non-profit making group that aims to increase awareness of the social, ethical and environmental impacts of vegetarianism.

Even if you feel that a vegetarian diet is not for you, by making small changes in your diet such as opting for free range rather than factory farmed products - you are helping to create a more sustainable and caring society.

Sunday 26 February, 1 o’clock at Bill’s house – Quiz and shared lunch. I have a quiz and a fun activity but please feel free to contribute.

Saturday 17 March, Brighton Veg Fest. Eastbourne/Bexhill people – we shall leave on the first train out of Eastbourne after 10.30 – meet just before to get tickets. A good chance to catch up with the Brighton/Seaford veggies.

You probably have received a message from Angie about a proposed discussion group at Greens in Seaside Road.

The next meeting will be on Friday 24th February, 1-3.

Thereafter, it is planned to meet every 2nd. MONDAY in the month, between 1 and 3pm at a stall and 3-5 for tea at Greens.

Spread the word and try to get your non-veggie friends to come to find out more about vegetarian and vegan food.

A publicity poster will be produced.
