Dr G.Latto submitted complaints and suggestions from the Swedish delegates which were noted and discussed. The General Secretary saidthat Mr Koken and his party had booked their own hotel accommodation and could not , therefore blame the IVU for being at Sitges instead of Barcelona.

It was agreed taht if the next Committee Meeting was in Paris the opportunity should be taken to invite a Conference with French Vegetarians.

Those with no National or Affiliated Society or those who preferred to book direct with the IVU in England should pay a fee of £3. This with the intention of encouraging membership of the national societies.

The General Secretary said he would shortly be sending details of the Congress to all societies and it was suggested that Handbooks (2/-) might be bought to send to delegates so that they could arrange holidays at vegetarian guest houses before or after the Congress.

It was agreed to notify societies well in advance about agendas reports etc with balance sheets.

It was agreed that early morning services might be held in the Chapel but that these should not be mentioned in the official programme, only announced on the notice board. An early morning time-table suggested was: 6-45 am exercises, 7-30 service by a different denomination each day, 8-15 breakfast. Mornings and afternoons should be mainly devoted to business and lectures but not mixed at the same session. Evenings for entertainments, films dancing and social activities.

It was reported that the British Vegetarian Youth Movement (BVYM) had agreed to arrange an international gathering of young vegetarians at the same time and place.

The Vegetarian Cycling and Athletic Club (VC & AC) was hoping to stage some cycling competitions.
