There was a specila meeting called later in the Congress at Mankar Nagar, Cross Maidan, Bombay on the platform on 10th December 1977 to elect Dr.M.Bhamgara (Bombay) as a successor to Mr.J.N.Mankar as a Joint Hon.Regional Secretary for India & The East to act in Union with Mr.Surendra Mehta of Madras.

Those present from the International Coumcil were:- Dr.Gordon Latto (President), Exec Vice Presidents:- Prof Scott Nearing and Mr H.J.Dinshah & Herr J.Fleischanderl; Mrs W.M.Eikeboom-Brookman (Council member); Also Mr John le Grice, Dr.M.Tada; Mr K Tada, Mr R Moriya, Mr S.S.Sanehi, Mr R.Bhedi and the Hon.Gen Sec.

The 2nd meeting all Council Members but Mr Fleischanderl.
