Paul and Galina Appleby

Paul Appleby is Senior Statistician at Cancer Research UK at their Epidemiology Unit in Oxford, UK . He has co-authored several papers arising from studies of the long-term health of vegetarians, including the Oxford Vegetarian Study, the Health Food Shoppers Study, and the Oxford arm of the European Prospective Investigation into Cancer and Nutrition (EPIC) which includes 20,000 vegetarians.

Paul is the local contact for the Vegetarian Society UK in Oxfordshire and has been secretary of Oxford Vegetarians since 1983.
