The 39th IVU World Vegetarian Congress will be held in Indonesia in Jakarta, the capital (and the economic centre of the country) and an optional extra few days in Bali, the country’s most famous tourist destination. An outline of the programme is available at the congress website. With the success of the recent Asian Veg Congress in Batam, Indonesia, we can expect much more from the 39th WVC.
The IVU India, South & West Asia Regional Vegetarian Congress will be on 13 & 14 Aug. 2010 (dates to be confirmed) in Bangalore, India.
On the way to Jakarta, you may plan a stop-over in Dubai, UAE, for the First MidEast Veg Congress from 28 - 30 Sep., 2010 (dates to be confirmed).
The 5th Asian Vegetarian Congress will be in Hangzhou, China. in Oct. 2011.
The 13th International Vegan Festival will be in Turin, Italy, in 2011.
