Belgian City Goes Once A Week Veg

logo DV The damage done by meat calls louder and louder for a response, and more people the world over are responding. A great example is the city of Ghent, Belgium. From May, government staff and elected officials will go veg once a week and from Sep, schools will follow suit. The goal is to protect the environment and to guard against obesity. news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/8046970.stm
