Food for Life Global Distributes Veg Food in Haiti

Food for Life is now working in Haiti in conjunction with larger organizations such as the Red Cross, Care, and they have partnered with the Indian military to provide a safe base to distribute vegan meals in Port-au-Prince.

The Vegetarian Union of Paraguay has launched an electronic newsletter. The initial issue contains articles on health, animal welfare, the environment, recipes and events. And, even if you don’t speak Spanish, UVPY’s colourful homepage will put a smile on your face.

More information is now available on the 2010 IVU World Vegetarian Congress - to be held in Indonesia, in Jakarta, the country’s largest city and capital, from 1-6 October, and in Bali, the country’s most famous tourist destination from 7-9 October.
