Tongan Coconut Rolls

Our old neighbor was from Tonga and his wife made these rolls and would share with us because my husband lived in Hawaii for a couple of years and grew to love the food there. If you use the frozen dough, let them rise completely and then pour the sauce over the top and bake according to the directions. Same with homemade rolls. Rise completely and then pour sauce on and bake as directed. These rolls are sweet.
SERVES 18 -24 , 24 or more rolls
- 1 (13 1/2 ounce) can coconut milk
- 3/4 cup sugar
Prepare rolls according to recipe.
Mix above ingredients together and pour over raised rolls.
Bake according to recipe directions. |
