The
Greatest Chili Ever

serves 4, takes 30 minutes
- 2 cups cooked beans.
- 16 oz crushed tomatoes
- 2 minced fresh tomatoes
- handful of cilantro
- 5 cloves of garlic chopped
- 1/2 minced red onion
- 1-2 jalepano or serrano peppers
- 2 tsp. fresh lime juice
- 2 tbls. chili seasoning
- 1 cup Hydrated Texturized Vegetable Protein
- Salt & Pepper to taste
* optional:
- 1 zuchhini(chopped),
- 1 c. artichoke hearts,
After hydrating TVP in boiling water 1:2, add canned tomatoes,
beans, garlic, onion, peppers, lime juice and chili seasoning.
Simmer over Medium heat 15-20 minutes.Adding water if necessary.
Add Cilantro and fresh tomatoes.
Simmer 5-10 minutes.
Garnish with soy cheese, avacado and hot sauce.
Especially good for potlucks and easy to make for camping trips.
