Fried Rice

A new twist on an old favorite
Serves 4
- 4 cups cooked brown rice
- 1 cup broccoli florets ( chopped fine)
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- 3/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 large clove garlic (minced)
- 2 green onions (minced)
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 2 tbs lite soy sauce
- 1tbs sesame oil
Spray a non-stick skillet with cooking spray. Add the sesame oil,
broccoli, carrots, garlic, onion, ginger and walnuts. Fry stirring
constantly for 1 or 2 minn. Add the cooked rice and stir till heated
through.
For a sweeter fried rice add 1 peeled and minced chopped apple
