Crispy Vegetarian
'Prawns'

Mother's recipe, 4 persons,
- 500gms cauliflower
- 2 tbsp vegetarian oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp black pepper powder (fine)
- 1 teaspoon chilli powder (opt)
- 1 tbsp ginger/garlic paste
- salt to taste
- Rice flour mix( rice flour+soda+water = batter mix)
- grated vegan parmesan cheese
1.. Cut cauliflower into small fry pieces
2. Soak for 10 min in salt water, completely drain from water
3. Add all other ingredients, mix well
4. Heat oil in wok ( must be very hot)
5. Dip the pieces into the batter and deep-fry for 30 sec
6. Remove from oil and roll in parmesan cheese
7. Serve hot
Closing comments: Fried Chicken BatterMix can be used (if vegan)
For crispy outer layer, oil must be very hot.
