Miso Soup

While this may not be an 'authentic' recipe, it IS quick, easy,
and good...
- 2 cups water or vegetable broth
- 2 teaspoons of your favorite bouillon powder (or cubes)
- 1/2 tsp kelp powder (or other sea vegetable powder)
- 1/2 tsp sugar or Sucanat (optional)
- 1 - 2 teaspoons Miso
Heat water in saucepan or microwave.
Stir in bouillon, kelp, and sugar.
Dissolve Miso in a small amount of the hot liquid, then mix
this into the rest of the liquid.
Serve immediately.
Served with a bowl of rice, this is a very satisfying light
meal.
Optional: Add some Tofu, cut into small dice.
Optional: Garnish with scallion shreds.
For Cream of Miso Soup: Add some Rice Milk. MMMM!
