Well, the title basically sums up the dish! This
is a fast and extremely tasty recipe from "Simply Vegan",
an essential to any vegan kitchen, especially where time is an
issue!
- 1 medium head cabbage, chopped
- 1/4 cup smooth tahini
- 2 Tblsp brown rice miso
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- salt to taste
Steam (or boil) cabbage until tender, about 8 -
10 minutes. (Longer if it is tough, old cabbage)
Combine tahini, miso and blk pepper. When cabbage
is done, reserve 1/4 cup of the cooking liquid and add to the
tahini mixture and whisk together until smooth. Transfer cabbage
to serving bowl, cover with sauce combine well. Add salt if it
is a little flat.
