Fruit Sauce

For those of you who don't like tomato based sauces, try this:

• 1+ 1/2 cups water
• 1 cup dried fruit of your choice
• 2 tablespoons sugar
• 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 2 teaspoons ground ginger
• 1/2 teaspoon ground tumeric
• 3 tablespoons soy sauce
• 1/4 teaspoon celery seed
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
