Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pan and season with cumin seeds and chopped
- 2 cups spinach,chopped
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup long grained rice
- 1 medium tomato, chopped
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 1 tsp. cumin seeds
- 1 tsp. coriander powder
- 2 green chillies chopped fine
- 2 Tblsp olive oil
Add onion and fry till it turns brown.
Add tomatoes and fry well.
Turn in the spinach and saute for two mts.
Cover cook for five mts on low heat.
Wash the rice and add to spinach mixture.
Add coriander powder,stir well.
Add water, bring to boil.
Cook for ten mts. on medium heat.
Cook till done on low heat.
