Healthy Pasta

My own invention for a slim-down diet.
The number of servings is shown on the packet of pasta; you can
cook all the packet and then just prepare what you are going to
eat. This easy recipe is quick to prepare.
- Italian pasta (any kind)
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Italian fine herbs
- Ground pepper
- capers (finely chopped)
- artichoke hearts (finely chopped)
- onion (finely chopped)
- Salt
- Red pepper sauce (Tabasco type)
- fresh parsley
Cook pasta in the usual way (al dente) and cool it off with cold water.
Then toss it in a bowl. Microwave serving; about 2 minutes per serving.
Generously pour olive oil on pasta. Then add the rest of the ingredients
and mix. Most ingredients come in spice-&-herb bottles. Go easy on
the red pepper sauce; it is only to enhance flavor.
This recipe does not add to your waistline and will increase your
good cholesterol level. And for those of you less worried about
your health, it has a delicious flavor and is easy to prepare. You
can add other ingredients and try different combinations.
