Double Strawberry Shake

I don't know how many of you train with weights regularly.
But for those of you who do, here is a delicious Strawberry Protein Shake recipe I came across.
Be sure when you by soy protein, that its first ingredient is Supro protein (It's washed in water instead of alcohol, so the is more of the good stuff for you left in it and not stripped out.)
This recipe is made for both vegans and non-vegans.

Serves 2; 175 calories; 1g fat per serving

  • 2 C. Strawberries (fresh works best but frozen is fine)
  • .5 C. nonfat, 1% or soymilk
  • 3 T. Strawberry preserves
  • 3 ice cubes
  • 2 scoops plain, vanilla, or strawberry soy protein powder
Combine all ingredients in blender.
Cover and blend at high speed for about a minute (time will be longer if using frozen strawberries).
Serve immediately.
