There are literally hundreds of hotels, guest houses and bed and breakfasts in and around Edinburgh, and most can cater for vegetarians very well. However, there are only a few that specifically target vegan and vegetarian visitors.

There are literally thousands of vegetarians living and working in Edinburgh, many of whom are keen to share with like-minded people. There are all the usual ways to find accommodation, but the noticeboards in the Real Foods shops (see shopping section) or in Susie's Diner (see eating out section) are particularly useful for vegetarians and vegans. Most health food shops in Edinburgh have similar noticeboards.
