Essay
Competition
On
'Veganism-Its Relevance & Ways of Implementation'
(Kannada)
Rules and Regulations:
- Each winner
will be given attractive cash prize and a memento.
- Normally
First, Second, Third and consolation prizes will be given in both English
and Kannada, Junior and Senior categories. The number of prizes will
be varied depending upon the number and quality of the entries received.
More entries more prizes.
- Those born
on or after Jan.1, 1990 are eligible for junior category. To compete
in junior category, age proof is to be provided or the entry is to be
attested by the head of the institution on the first page.
- All winners
will be invited to Murdeshwar to receive prizes and given one night's
accommodation on twin sharing basis and second class railway return
fare from the nearest station to the place of residence or some reasonable
travel costs at the discretion of the organizers.
- Prizes
will be distributed during the 11th International Vegan Festival, Murdeshwar,
Sep.30-Oct.06, 2007.
- Winners
will be intimated by telephone or post or email, whichever convenient,
by Aug.15, 2007.
- All entries
should be neatly handwritten on A4 size papers in not more than 1000
words with the writer's name, date of birth, postal address, state,
telephone number/email address written on top of the first page.

- One can
participate in both English and Kannada but only one age category -
Junior or Senior.
- All Entries
should be sent to Indian Vegan Society, P. O. Box-17, BYNDOOR - 576
214, Udupi Dist, Karnataka, India by ordinary post so as to reach us
not later than June 30, 2007.
- All entries
once received will be the property of the Indian Vegan Society who will
have all the rights to use it to promote veganism or in any manner found
appropriate by the Indian Vegan Society.
- Organizers
have the right to give separate prizes if more entries are received
from a particular geographical area. Entries from out of India will
be considered as a separate category.
- The decision
of the organizers and the judges in all matters related to this competition
will be final. Since this is for a noble cause, no disputes whatsoever
will be entertained, everybody is requested to cooperate.
- This competition
is open to all human beings without any restrictions whatsoever except
the members of the Indian Vegan Society and their family members.
