13th International Vegan Festival
4 - 12 June, 2011
"A whole world to share"

Elimar Hotel - Rincón de la Victoria, Málaga (Spain)

The aim of the XIII International Vegan Festival, organized by the Vegan Society in the Elimar Hotel, Rincon de la Victoria, from 4 to June 12, 2011, is to support and promote the vegan lifestyle as a healthy, ethical and ecologically responsible alternative to the consumption of meat and animal products whose production, marketing and distribution involves the exploitation and destruction of billions of living beings and an unpredented unsustainable waste of the natural resources of the planet, which has a devastating impact on human health, causing nutritional borne diseases such as cancer, diabetes and obesity.

The location and character of the Festival create the perfect setting to raise awareness and assess the implications and ethical advantages, nutritional issues and positive changes resulting from a more healthy and compassionate lifestyle, and the serious consequences and impact of animal exploitation and production of food of animal origin worldwide.

The cost of the Festival includes accommodation, vegan meals and registration to participate in all activities of the Festival. On Sunday June 5 there are free visits to the Alcazaba and the castle gardens and Gibralfaro in the historic center of Malaga. There is also a visit to the Cueva del Tesoro in Rincón de la Victoria, on Wednesday the 8th, free to participants of the Festival, as well as an optional excursion to the Caves of Nerja.

Although nothing is compulsory and we always have the beach nearby!
